I have a rather embarassing question. I am a male, currently very overweight since the last 4 years or so. I have noticed my suprapubic fat pad is very thick, to the point that I feel I am not seeing the whole length of my penis when it is erect because I can feel some length of it that's beneath the fat pad when poking around the base of the shaft. Although I'm fortunate to not have issues with performance or the size of it, I am curious and feel like if I lost enough weight I'd have an extra inch or two. Is this a common issue with fat men? Also, is it a common observation to 'reveal' more length when losing weight?
Thank you!

Both of your assumptions are correct. If a man is overweight and therefore has a lot of fat in the suprapubic area, the penis or part of the penis disappears in the fat. The penis itself does not become smaller. It is attached to the bone with ligaments and therefore remains in place, so the fat surrounds it like a sheath. If you lose weight, the penis will appear to gain length because it becomes visible again.
