What triggers sexual arousal?

The senses of sight, smell, taste, touch, and hearing can all trigger sexual arousal. Therefore, there are countless things that can arouse you sexually. You will discover some of them over the course of your life. Once arousal is triggered, it can be intensified until orgasm is reached.

Sex can (and must) be learned

Most sexual preferences are not innate, but develop through repetition. That's good news, because it means that sex can be learned. How much and what you feel during sex is also a matter of practice. Movement, muscle tension, and breathing play a major role in this. Regardless of whether you have a vagina or a penis, there are many things you can try.

Discovering solo sex

Some people realize early on that they can experience pleasure by touching their genitals in certain ways. They may then feel the urge to intentionally induce these feelings. Masturbation is normal. Varying the way you masturbate can bring more pleasure and is also helpful for sex with others.

Sex is more than just intercourse.

Many people think sex and intercourse are the same thing. And sure, intercourse can be a lot of fun. However, there are countless other ways to have sex. Whether it's petting, blowjobs, cunnilingus, or anal sex, the more variety you bring to your sex life, the more pleasurable it will be.
